Join our team at Te Toka Tumai in a critical role focused on safeguarding patients, staff, and visitors while ensuring the security and protection of our property and assets. As part of our dedicated security team, you will play a vital role in providing professional, customer-centric healthcare security services to create a safe and secure environment for all. Your proactive approach and operational expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the safety and well-being of everyone at Te Toka Tumai.

**About you | He kōrero mōu**

You will be working within a small, high performing team who depend heavily on each other to ensure prompt response to incidents and ensure safety of all patients, visitors, and staff.
- Experience in security control rooms and familiarity with security technology systems preferred.
- Vulnerable Children’s Act (VCA) Clearance essential and Police Clearance, if required
- Excellent communication abilities - Strong and gentle physically
- Proficient in basic computer usage
- Customer service or security background beneficial
- Capability to provide support to Team Leaders and manage the team in their absence
- Strong track record of punctuality and attendance
- Demonstrates caring attitude towards safety and wellbeing of others and shows empathy for those in need of support
