Our client is a growing commercial property investment and management company with offices located across New Zealand. With thousands of local and overseas investors, they have a significant investment portfolio and an established reputation.
**Some more information about the role**
This is a sole charged role where you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s risk and compliance framework, including its AML and compliance programme.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop, maintain and manage the risk, compliance and AML frameworks, policies and procedures in line with regulatory and licencing requirements.
- Maintain the compliance monitoring programme.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including regulators particularly regarding AML matters.
- Report risk, compliance and AML matters to the Executive Leadership Team.
The role will be based in either the Tauranga or Christchurch office.
**So who are you & what is your profile?**
This role would suit an experienced and confident Compliance professional who can work both autonomously and as part of a team.
You will be an excellent communicator and enjoy working within a vibrant collaborative office environment.
Key requirements to be successful in this role include:
- 4 years’ experience working within a Compliance role with AML knowledge, preferably within investment management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Work autonomously as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
- Pragmatic, work well under pressure and enjoy solving problems.
- A tertiary qualification in law would be seen as an added benefit.
