**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

We currently have an exciting, newly created opportunity within our Specialised Solutions team, for an experienced Transactional Banking professional with a strong understanding of merchant payments to join us as a **Senior Manager, Client Payment Solutions**.

In this role you will be primarily responsible for driving new merchant and payment revenue origination and business development in the Corporate & Institutional Banking sector.

**What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?**
- Leading and identifying growth opportunities for our merchant and payment clients of a certain size and complexity, working with prospective and existing customers.
- Delivering world-class merchant and payment solutions
- Proactively managing a portfolio of multifaceted payment clients
- Providing merchant and payment thought leadership to key internal and external stakeholders
- Driving profitable and sustainable growth for our clients, and BNZ

**What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?**

You will be joining a nationwide sales and service team, that has a wealth of knowledge and experience in delivering mission-critical transactional banking solutions to a great portfolio of clients across New Zealand.

One of the most exciting areas of focus for this role will be designing and delivering market-leading merchant and payment solutions to our clients. It is a fast-paced, high-growth industry, and the provision of strong payment solutions and relationships are increasingly driving performance and opening strategic advantage for our clients.

Ideally, will be self-driven with a passion for growing New Zealand - creating business connections and assisting BNZ customers to deliver on their export growth aspirations in international markets.

To be successful in this role you will also have a deep understanding of merchant payment solutions (products & channels) and services, and industry trends.
