**The Opportunity - Te Kāinga Rua**
Come join our Planning, Communications and Engagement (PC&E) team to help shape our communities in the Bay of Plenty and Waikato.
The scope of the role will reflect the enthusiasm and energy you bring. Stimulating and rewarding, it will bring a blend of administration responsibilities, project support work and marketing support for our team. We are open to both full-time and part-time (4 days) work based in our Tauranga office.
Our tight knit and supportive team offers a creative, collaborative atmosphere where you can expect every day to look a bit different, providing new opportunities and challenges. Overall, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the team with a variety of administration tasks
- Coordination of team events
- Support project implementation
- Championing our team systems for other team members
- Helping to raise the profile of the team internally and externally through marketing support
- Typically, all of this, no two days will be the same Your curiosity to learn, initiative and proactive support will pave the way for variety.
As well as supporting our PC&E team you will also be the personal assistant to our Operations Manager - Community Shaping, who sits with our team in Tauranga.
**About You - Te Rongoāto**
You will enjoy making things happen, with a strong delivery focus, based on your excellent administration, organisational support, and event management abilities. You will enjoy supporting the development of a high-performing team, with a personal style based on confidentiality and neutrality. In addition, you will be innovative and motivated, with a passion for helping people and the ability to work in a fluid, and dynamic, environment.
Delivering strong administration and organisational support is obviously critical to your success. You bring positive energy, you are highly organised, clear and confident communicator with an enthusiastic approach to your work. Most of all you love being part of team and will help ‘make everyday better’.
- Extensive administrative experience and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Creativity in your thinking, developing solutions that connect stakeholders and build relationships
- Confident and clear written and verbal skills and the ability to adapt styles and approaches to different audiences
- A positive attitude and enjoy problem solving during times of ambiguity
- A proactive manner and ability to work self-sufficiently
- High levels of energy and determination even during times of setbacks
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet multiple, changing and challenging deadlines
- Understanding the agile work process is an advantage
- The ability to adapt to change in a professional manner - with a great sense of humour
Proficient in a Microsoft 365 environment and at ease in a digital workspace for document management and sharing, you’ll be an advocate of new ways of working, leveraging our strong digital platform for delivery and communication. Your positive energy, eye for detail, solution focus and sense of humour will be a good fit for the team and will positively impact internal and external relationships, contributing to your success and enjoyment.
