We're expanding our leadership in land management, and we've created a brand-new Partnerships & Leasing Specialis role based in Wellington. As part of our collaborative Crown Property Group, you'll work alongside passionate specialists who ensure our land assets meet legislative and maintenance standards, while also partnering closely with Iwi on Treaty settlement properties. We're on the lookout for a detail-driven, solutions-focused professional to keep our operations humming. If you thrive in fast-paced, customer-centric environments and have a knack for statutory decision-making, this role is your chance to shine. You'll support senior team members, streamline workflows, and help deliver creative, cost-effective outcomes that make a real difference.

**He pukenga tou - Skills & Experience**

**About you**:

- A strong understanding of government legislation encompassing national policy statements and local authority regulations.
- An understanding of laws and regulations pertaining to land obligations, including the Resource Management Act 1991, Biosecurity Act 1993, Forests Act 1949, and relevant national policy statements, would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and relationship building,
- Exceptional communication skills, coupled with the ability to adapt flexibly to varying work scenarios.
- Hands-on experience in the operational aspects of land management within a scheduled and planned maintenance environment
- Experience in contract administration or project management.
- A Valid unrestricted New Zealand Drivers licence.

**You may also bring**:

- Proven experience in customer service management,
- Experience with working collaboratively with Iwi Partners

**The expected appointing range for this role is: $85,000 - $95,000, dependant on experience.**
