Auckland Council’s Pool & Leisure Centre’s are looking for a team member to work in our pools, giving swimming lessons. Get paid to work in the water

This is a fantastic ‘foot-in-the-door’ job if you are interested in getting involved in the Sport and Recreation industry.

You will work in the pool giving ‘learn to swim’ teaching lessons to groups of our community. Full training is provided, (including First Aid) so you’ll have everything you need to succeed.

This role is specifically work with young children, 0-2yrs old, so you’ll need to be comfortable working with this age group. You’ll gain satisfaction from teaching all babies and toddlers confidence in the water

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

Previous experience working with children is beneficial, it’s not essential. Full training is provided.

You should be comfortable being in and swimming in the water, and working will all members of the community.

As this role works with children, you will need to:

- Be at least 16 years of age
- Pass alcohol and drug testing
- Complete an online police check

Hourly rate $23.65
- This role is classified as a Children's Worker role under the Vulnerable Children Act 2014 and is deemed a safety-sensitive position._
