**Job Summary**:
We’re looking for a confident, passionate, and adaptable **Technology Tutor** to join our team This role is ideal for someone with a background in both education and STEM, who enjoys working with students.

**About Us**:
We're a small, creative team delivering engaging and inclusive STEM workshops across Aotearoa. Since launching in Auckland in 2017, we’ve expanded from after-school coding classes to offering robotics, electronics, 3D design and printing, science, Minecraft, and more

Our goal is to make STEM exciting and accessible to all learners.

We now run after-school programs, holiday workshops, work in primary school classrooms, at community events, and support neurodivergent learners in 1:1 settings.

**About the Role**:
This dual-role blends responsibilities from our Special Education and General Technology Tutor positions. You'll be delivering small group STEM sessions in after-school programs, holidays, and during school hours, and providing 1:1 support to a handful of neurodivergent learners with a strong interest in technology.

**Key focus areas**:

- After-school and holiday group STEM sessions (primary-aged learners)
- In-school classes with primary aged students (whole classroom sessions)
- 1:1 sessions with neurodivergent and disabled students
- Technical mentoring in areas like game design, animation, 3D design, and electronics

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver engaging STEM sessions in after-school, in-school, and holiday formats
- Work 1:1 with neurodivergent learners on interest-based projects
- Travel to and teach at schools, libraries, homes, and community spaces
- Keep session records, manage scheduling and communication, and attend regular team check-ins
- Stakeholder meetings

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Technical skills in 2+ STEM areas mentioned (electronics, 3D design and printing, PC building, game design, animation)
- Experience working with neurodivergent and/or disabled learners
- A positive, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with young people
- Confidence teaching in education settings
- Someone who is reliable, communicative, and values-aligned
- You must have your own reliable, private transport and a valid driver’s licence to transport our equipment

**Location & Hours**:

- Work is based across **Wellington**—we group students regionally to minimise travel where we can
- Weekly hours: 4 - 10
- Holiday programs replace regular classes during school breaks
