Duty Officers are an essential part of our team, you will help us provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment to our guests at all times. This is a hands-on role focusing on the grounds and maintenance of the park, a jack of all trades

**Day-to-day duties include**:

- Assisting with housekeeping and laundry
- Grounds maintenance - rubbish runs, gardening, mowing of lawns (ride on mower and push mower)
- Cleaning of toilet/shower and kitchen blocks
- General maintenance of buildings, including painting
- Assistance with customer service when required.

**About you**:

- Physically fit and capable of full days of physical duties
- Full NZ Drivers Licence -_ preference for those who can drive manual, due to the fleet stock._
- Comprehensive first aid certificate
- Ability to relate well to customers, as we are customer facing
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- The ability to work unsupervised
- Previous experience in a maintenance roles and experience with power tools is advantageous
- Qualifications/Unit standards in any the following would be ideal; Tractors, Chainsaws, Grow-safe

**_ Please note you will be required to work most public holidays, and the main holiday period (Christmas to Feb approx.), as this is our busiest period._**

**Salary**: $23.65 - $25.09
