**Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)**

We are looking for an adaptable and energetic Charge Nurse Manager for a period of up to a year to cover the secondment of our permanent CNM. The AT&R unit is a 20-bed unit which provides rehabilitation to a wide range of patients, including stroke patients. You will work alongside and lead a team of dedicated nurses at Nelson Hospital in partnership with the multidisciplinary team.

The position is predominantly Monday to Friday between 0700-1700, but there may occasionally be the need for some flexibility around these hours.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated, and culturally competent nurse leader. You will have advanced clinical knowledge and expertise, and sound appreciation of the details in managing staff and coordinating resources in an environment that is sometimes pressured. Of particular focus will be family-centred, culturally appropriate and safe care delivery, with a strong emphasis on quality improvement.

You will have a strong record of transformational leadership, clinical mentorship, effective change management and a commitment to excellence in patient care. You will be part of an effective senior nursing team developing and leading models of care, process, policy, and guidelines relating to this client group.
