The role:
Due to the exciting acquisition of a new contract, we are seeking for a handful of enthusiastic and talented Greenspace Supervisors to help manage our high performing teams in Dunedin and Mosgiel on a permanent, full time basis.

As one of our Greenspace Supervisors, you will be based in either our Mosgiel office or head office in Dunedin, reporting to one of our Contract Managers.

About you:

- A strong, practical knowledge of Horticulture, Sportsfields or general Parks Maintenance
- Understands and promotes Health & Safety guidelines and best practice
- Operation and maintenance of all vehicles, plant, and equipment under your responsibility
- Making sure all plant and equipment have current WOFs, registrations, and Road User Certificates
- Ensure appropriate on and off the job training requirements are being met
- Effective communication, problem solving, and leadership style
- Ability to motivate staff to complete tasks on time, with quality, in budget
- Strong focus on Health and Safety Guidelines and best practices
- Self
- motivated and achievement oriented
- Client focused

Consideration will be given to applicants who have relevant experience and the required attributes above, however the following qualifications would be an asset:

- Horticultural or Sports Turf Management qualifications
- Class 2 driver's license
- Growsafe qualification
- TC/ STMS
- Wheels endorsement
- Experience and knowledge of the regional greenspaces and local contract requirements desirable
