**The Client**
With 1600 staff across 60+ offices nationally, this enterprise is next level. Steeped in history and known for innovation, they are consistently pushing the boundaries in their given sector. Being a heavy industry player, they have a range of services and products dealing with consumers, commercial, and government clients across NZ.

**The Role**

Day to day, you will spend the majority of your time working with corporate users on:

- Designing and executing change requests
- Investigating data flow issues that are creating error reports
- Working with users to solicit new reporting requirements
- Working with Data Engineers to design and test new reports
- Assisting with testing of solutions prior to release
- Contributing to upgrades and project-related activities
- Maintaining and delivering training as required
- You will directly support users, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and work with the users until resolutions are delivered i.e. own the issues until resolution.

A nationally represented team, you are one of three key Application Support Analysts and you will be responsible for maintaining the configuration, user set-ups and functional capability of the people you support.

**About You**
You have the ability to ask the right questions to get to the issue and or to tease out the requirements. Your patience and commercial communication skills are paramount and they will help deliver highly effective outcomes.

Customer Service is crucial in the role. You must love serving the user, delivery with customer experience as the first priority is paramount in this position.

**The Skills required**
- Commercial experience with ERP systems and Finance platforms ideally.
- Working within an ITIL environment would be helpful.
- Experience in RCA and ability to identify appropriate solutions.
- Working between users and the data teams to build report functionality for users to consume.
- Respond promptly to user needs and use excellent liaising skills.
- Supporting the delivery of the ICT technology roadmap and various business initiatives.
- Create and update technical documents and procedures.
- Evaluate opportunities for process improvements and workflow enhancements.
- Participate in system testing and UAT.
- Provide on-call support when required (approx. every 6 weeks).
- Knowledge of Finance processes (Accounts Payable and Billables and Invoicing) would be seen as a distinct advantage

**Remuneration**
Paying up to $85,000 base salary, our client offers great work and personal development opportunities to develop your career aspirations. This role could head in two directions 1) into Data Engineering or 2) in Business Analysis.
