This is a great opportunity for an experienced Nurse with strong leadership and advanced nursing skills to work closely with Charge Nurses, Ward Coordinators, CNMs and Nurse Unit Manager of the Medical wards at Te Toka Tumai in an environment that will prepare you for a key management/leadership role.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
In this role you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager of General Medicine and be accountable for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of clinical nursing care to patients after hours (afternoon shifts on weekdays and morning and afternoon shifts on weekends) and their family/whānau. On a daily basis you will be demonstrating clinical and professional leadership and co-ordination of the ward in addition to leading and supporting nursing teams in all aspects of nursing care management within the ward.
