Te Whatu Ora Waitemata is the largest DHB in New Zealand, serving a population of approximately 600,000 people living in Rodney, and North and West Auckland.
This role will involve coordinating and case managing aspects of the perioperative process for patients in General Surgery, including clinical oversight of referrals into General Surgery and clinical coordination of outpatient and inpatient waitlists. Some service development work will also be included.
- and family-focused healthcare delivery. You will work closely with the Perioperative Nurse Coordinators, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Cancer Care Coordinators, and the Administration team. Additionally, you will be able to work autonomously, positively, and proactively with patients, clinicians, nurses, and other key stakeholders.
This role would suit a well-organised, self-starter at Level 3 or above with current General Surgical experience.
