**Senior Salesforce Developer Overview**

The SSD will play a vital role at VIZpin. We are looking for a team member to help us continually improve and enhance the Salesforce platform that our access control services run on. The SSD will work alongside our software development teams and third party software companies to understand customer requirements, convert them to development projects and deliver the solutions.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the development and product teams to enhance the products with special consideration for security, scalability and system limitations
- Develop new features and enhancements in Apex and Visualforce
- Continually Improve our User Interface with Visualforce pages, Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web Components
- Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other internal and external 3rd party systems
- Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write and maintain test classes for all custom development
- Ensure smooth execution of new features and updates

**Job Requirements**
- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I
- At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle
- Experience developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Java, HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Able to work independently as well as with other Salesforce team members
- Passionate about best code practices
- Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications
- Experience working with large data sets and bulkification
- Fluent English speaker

**Additional Skills**:

- Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I
- Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree, professional qualification, or relevant experience
- Competent with XML, Flex,.NET, SQL, C++ and SOAP-based web services
- Active in the Salesforce community
- Comfortable managing a team
