NZSki boasts one of the most modern and innovative rental fleets in the world comprising of the leading Head BYS system and the Burton LTR snowboards.
Our staff are an important part of our mountain's personalities and help us deliver on our purpose. The role of a Rentals Assistant is to provide our guests with a seamless service by assisting them onto the snow in suitably fitted snowsports rental equipment including ski's, snowboards & clothing.

About the role
- Greeting guests to the Rentals department and providing service with friendliness
- Fitting boots, skis and snowboards safely and efficiently
- Fitting and issuing of clothing, helmets, wristguards, poles (or accessories)
- Maintaining a tidy work area
- Ensuring all rental items have been checked in accordance with all health and safety and set up requirements
- Managing the rentals process for schools and groups on arrival
- Stocktakes
- Seeking opportunities to maximise sales
- Based at Coronet Peak or The Remarkables (you can select your preference when you apply)

About You
- Highly customer focused with the ability to adapt to the demands of the business
- Ability to provide a safe and efficient service
- The ability to engage and build a rapport with guests and staff quickly
- Strong teamwork skills and experience in frontline customer service
- Willing to assist in other departments and take on additional duties as required
- Previous experience or sound knowledge of snowsports equipment would be considered a definite advantage although full training will be provided

Further Information
- Shifts will vary from early starts to accommodate schools and groups, to working evenings during night ski
- Please note 5 days per week which will include weekends with shifts between both Coronet Peak and The Remarkables.
