As a Lead Test Engineer, you will be forward thinking, ambitious and an experienced professional. You will be responsible for managing small streams of work to the required quality standards. This includes managing the overall test activities and the workload of other test professionals that are required to deliver business requirements while also being responsible for producing test artefacts and be hands on with test automation activities.

This is a fast pace and exciting Lead Test Engineer position where you will be involved in all aspects of testing from contributing to test policies, assisting with the creation of test automation strategies and plans to designing automated test scenarios. You'll be an important part of a team of test professionals who have a sound understanding of software development.

As we operate in a Scaled Agile Fraework (SAFe) environment, experience/familiarity with SAFe in a large organisation would be advantageous.

**Skills/Experience required**:

- Have 6+ years’ experience in software testing and 4 years of this in a Senior Test Engineer role or preferably 2 years in a test lead role
- You will be able to manage your time across multiple teams/ARTs
- You will work with other lead engineers to improve and drive best practices in test automation at ACC
- Be doing hands on test automation in an existing Java/Selenium based framework (designing, coding, running, debugging, reporting, code reviewing, etc)
- Be supporting and guiding other engineers in your team and other teams when needed
- Have good experience in Java, Selenium, API testing, GIT, Azure Pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with Salesforce, Integration testing, Oracle, GitHub and Data Warehousing would be advantageous
- Must have demonstratable, practical experience in coaching/mentoring
- Work in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) working environment

**Working at ACC**:
The base salary range for this role is $97,888 to $138,194 with starting salary depending on skills and experience of the successful applicant. ACC also offers additional 9% superannuation.
