**As a Principal Communications Advisor, you'll lead high-impact strategic communications that shape our organisation and subsidiaries across Aotearoa. In this senior role reporting to the General Manager Communications, you'll provide trusted advice to senior leadership, drive key initiatives, and champion clear, consistent messaging that reflects our commitment to inclusion and advocacy for people with intellectual disabilities. Collaborating with a passionate team and cross-functional partners, you'll lead high-profile projects, enhance our public narrative, and help elevate IHC's voice and reputation both internally and externally.

**Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring**
- Proven experience in a senior communications role, with a strong strategic lens.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and distil complex ideas into clear messages.
- Deep experience in media relations, issues management, content development, and digital communications.
- Confidence providing high-level advice to senior leaders and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong project leadership and time management skills, with the ability to juggle priorities in a dynamic environment.
- A tertiary qualification in communications, media or a related discipline (or equivalent experience), and a full NZ driver's licence.
