**About the O Mahurangi - Penlink Project**

O Mahurangi - Penlink will be a new seven-kilometre highway between Whangaparāoa Road and State Highway 1. The highway will create a more resilient network and get people where they need to be faster, whether by vehicle, walking or on a bike.

**The Role**:
We are looking for an experienced surveyor to work with our construction team for the construction of the Wēiti River Bridge. The Wēiti River bridge is an extradosed bridge and will be the first of its kind in New Zealand.

As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

- Supervising and mentoring site and project engineers in the use of equipment and best survey and data control practice,
- As Built and Topographical surveying, CAD processing
- Quantity and volume calculations
- General Survey/Set-out on the bridge Structure
- Placement of Control for Bridge Construction
- Extensive monitoring of various bridge elements
- Assist with strategies, systems and procedures for the execution of all surveying operations to the required level of accuracy and quality
- Setup, manage and work to a program of surveying activities

**To be successful you'll have**:

- Surveyor qualification
- Full NZ Driver's license minimum Class 1
- Structures experience is essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience within a survey or civil construction industry
- Understanding of survey methodology and civil construction methodology
- Familiar with excel, CAD, GPS, Total Station, Precise Levelling, Control Networks.
- Preferable knowledge of Leica equipment and Autodesk Civil3d.
- Strong mathematical ability and familiar / competent with electronic devices
