This is a unique opportunity to work in an award-winning multi-sensory environment. Located at Pioneer Recreation & Sports Centre, the Southern Centre Multi-Sensory Room uses innovative lighting and sound technology that allows our participants to explore and create using the interactive equipment.

You will facilitate the delivery of a stimulating and safe multi-sensory recreational experience to all Southern Centre customers. Our environment is welcoming and inclusive, and as a Facilitator, you'll be creative when it comes to individualising the programme to meet the needs of your customer. To work in a rewarding environment such as this and to be hands on with your customers means you'll have the satisfaction of making a difference every time you come to work.

You'll be motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about providing inclusive recreational opportunities, and preferably have experience working with people in the disability sector. However, the most important attributes will be your excellent communication and customer service skills, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.

**_ Salary: _**_$23.65 per hour_

**_ Hours of work: 1 x Permanent Part Time position - Fridays 3.75hrs, 12.45pm - 4.30pm and Saturdays 9:45am - 1:45pm_**

**_ Location: _**_Pioneer Recreation & Sports Centre_

Whilst staff working at the Christchurch City Council are not currently required to be vaccinated, applicants need to be aware that should the COVID-19 environment change, roles across the organisation will be assessed, and the requirement to be vaccinated may be reviewed.
