**The Opportunity**:
We have a Permanent, hands on, opportunity with the AsureQuality Sample Reception Team in our Wellington Laboratory
This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone looking to gain a breadth of knowledge and positive experience around laboratory practise in a commercial environment.
This role will see you
- Receive samples, from a variety of customer sources, to distinguish the speed, accuracy and suitability of the tests and testers to be assigned to them.
- Retain and dispose of expended samples
- Maintain an accurate record of areas such as temperature, cleaning and training records and
- The effective communication to internal and external customers answering queries, providing timely updates and communicating solutions.

**About you**
This is a shift based opportunity, 40 hours a week, with working days Tuesday to Saturday with some flexibility to work overtime as the lab is functioning 6 days a week. You will also be required to lift and carry bags of up to 10kg regularly.
To be considered for the role will require
- A passion for food safety and quality
- Previous experience working in a fast paced, communicative environment
- Exemplary attention to detail and both written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent data management and the ability to prioritise process.
- Pride in what you do, the quality of your work and a true team ethos

Experience in a previous highly regulated environment and an interest in Science are well regarded in this role.
