We’re looking for a passionate and curious **Actuarial Analyst** to step into a dynamic role filled with variety, challenge, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple actuarial teams. While your primary focus will be on **capital reporting and modelling**, you’ll also gain exposure to a wide range of projects across the actuarial function.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Supporting the delivery of capital reporting, forecasting, and performance insights for Suncorp New Zealand
- Contributing to capital modelling that drives business decisions and profit outcomes
- Preparing and analysing complex data sets and financial information
- Presenting insights and findings to a range of stakeholders
- Assisting with strategic reporting that shapes how we manage the business
- Collaborating with actuarial colleagues on projects and ad-hoc work to broaden your expertise

**What You Bring**:

- A recent graduate or up to 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or another quantitative discipline
- A genuine interest in pursuing Fellowship with the Actuaries Institute of Australia
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an eagerness to drive process improvements
- Familiarity with tools such as Igloo, R, Python, SQL, SAS (desirable but not essential)
