**Te tūnga | The role**

In this role, you'll lead the implementation of cloud-native architecture and DevOps practices across multiple product teams. Working closely with developers, testers, product owners, and security specialists, you'll build robust CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, and ensure high system reliability.

You'll also bring a continuous improvement mindset
- identifying opportunities to improve our cloud environments and engineering practices, and mentoring others on cloud and DevOps capabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, implement and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (Azure)
- Build and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with agile squads to support delivery of digital products and services
- Automate infrastructure using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates / Bicep)
- Monitor system health and performance; lead incident response and remediation
- Promote DevSecOps culture and mentor junior engineers

**About You**
- 5+ years' experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and cloud-native architectures
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps and Github Actions)
- Strong scripting or coding skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, ARM Templates / Bicep etc.)
- Hands-on experience with containerisation and orchestration using Docker, Azure Container Apps and Kubernetes, with strong infrastructure-as-code skills using Terraform and Helm for managing Kubernetes deployments
- Understanding of security, networking, and operational best practices
- Bonus: experience in observability tooling or platform engineering
