**The Company**

Our client is a nationally renowned Kiwi retail business with operations across the country. The NZ business is now a subsidiary of an Australian giant and has continued to be a strong player in the market with continued investment by the parent. The NZ business has significant revenue but continues to have a tight knit mid-sized team, punching above their weight.

**The Role**

The role of Accounts payable will be one of two in this area, both reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Processing invoices through to weekly and monthly payments
- Reconcile creditors due for payment.
- Reconcile vouchers to statements received and purchase orders raised.
- Reconciling of bank statements when required.
- Creditor management; coding and authorisation
- Vendor management
- Weekly and monthly cashflow management and reporting
- Intercompany transactions and processing on-charges
- Processing staff expenses
- Ad-hoc duties as required

**Skills & Experience**

This role will suit someone looking for a strong team culture to be part of whilst still being able to take full responsibility in a full function Accounts payable role. Proven experience in a high volume environment will be beneficial, as will your ability to pick up new systems.

What it imperative is your ability to communicate at all levels to a high standard - both written and verbally. You will be a problem solver, be able to multi-task and be organized whilst maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
