The Mission Management Operations team in the GCSB's Intelligence Directorate has unique opportunities for entry-level Analysts who aspires to work at the heart of the GCSB intelligence mission, either in support to tasking and collection, or by supporting the coordination of our authorising environment.

**In supporting the tasking and collection function you will**:

- Collaborate with teams throughout Intelligence directorate to understand their intelligence requirements.
- Be part of a team that has responsibility for tasking relevant teams in order to ensure that suitable solutions are implemented.
- Be pro-active in supporting the tasking of new accesses as they are developed into mature capabilities

In the management and coordination of our authorising environment you will:

- Grow and utilise your knowledge of both GCSBs intelligence operating environment and authorising environment to play a central role in developing new and existing intelligence warrants to support GCSBs intelligence collection and analysis function.
- Facilitate consultation between Intelligence directorate teams and GCSB Legal and Compliance staff to ensure that intelligence warrants fulfil organisational requirements and are fit for purpose.

This is an entry-level Mission Analyst role, but the position is multi-banded, and therefore provides plenty of opportunity for professional development and progression.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated ability to understand and use new software tools and systems
- High attention to detail

Teamwork is key so you will enjoy working in a collaborative environment, engaging and sharing knowledge with a wide range of enthusiastic, smart people. You will be flexible and responsive to operational requirements which can possibly involve work outside of business hours, sometimes at short notice. Due to the sensitive nature of the role we can not offer a wfh option.
