Help develop the world's most advanced electric amphibious solution.
- Exciting, fun working environment with regular trips in the marina
- Mt Wellington location
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and you can make it walk like a mountain goat, we want to talk to you.
This job is not for the uninspired, timid or one-trick-ponies. If, however, you’re hands-on, have serious design and collaboration brass and do not shy away from the challenges of continuous customisation, you’ve come to the right place.
**About the role**:
- You will be working as part of a team, contributing to the development of automated machinery in the marine sector.
- The role will contribute throughout the development cycle - from design and fabrication, through assembly and installation, to testing and evaluating components and products.
- Our business and products are evolving and growing quickly, with opportunities to be involved with a range of interesting projects.
**About you**:
- Mechatronics degree or similar tertiary qualification.
- Graduates would be considered, but experience, particularly in marine tech and electronic control systems, would be an advantage.
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical and automation systems.
- Leadership and mentorship capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
**About our employment partner, Tectrax Limited**:
- Tectrax is making waves as the world’s most advanced electric amphibious solution.
- And because Tectrax is created by boaties for boaties, 100% of their focus is on creating the best possible electric amphibious systems with first class service, and less compromise on development, design and build.
- Tectrax products are customised on specific builds, each project includes custom design, manufacturing, product testing, installation, and on-going after-sales support.
If this role have you spinning around with excitement, we would love to hear from you. However, if the position isn’t for you, but you know of someone whom you think would be great in the role, please pass this advertisement to them and encourage them to apply.
