**Description**:
A bit about your role
Working from our client’s sites in the Hamilton, Waikato region, the Field Services Engineer will be primarily responsible for monitoring and responding to IT related issues as they arise within our client’s IT environment, and for building rapport and relationships within the client’s userbase and key stakeholders.
A core functionality of this position is the ability to troubleshoot, fix and remedy a wide range IT problem. It is all about taking the pain out of working in a technology driven environment by delivering timely, concise, and cohesive solutions which reduces downtime and maximise workplace efficiencies.
You will manage incidents and service requests as a team to ensure service level agreements (SLA’s) are met.
The Field Services Engineer position is a key frontline position which involves professional, in-person delivery of IT support.
**Skills and Experiences**:
**What we are looking for, ideally someone with**:
A Degree or qualification in a Computer Science field
Proven professional IT experience in an operational enterprise within NZ IT environment.
Relevant Microsoft desktop certifications would be beneficial.
Experience collaborating with IT professionals in a corporate NZ environment, including executive management, while demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to thrive in stressful settings and adapt swiftly to changing environments.
Previous experience working within teams, adhering to established team standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
