**The role**

We
***have an exciting opportunity available for a talented Digital Learning Developer who is passionate about elevating great learning and eLearning experiences. This role would suit an L&D professional who can demonstrate experience using Articulate Rise and Storyline to provide innovative solutions for a range of learning needs.

The Digital Learning Developer provides advice on, creates and deploys innovative and impactful digital learning solutions, underpinned by best practice and learner experience design principles. You will use a range of digital learning tools and technologies to produce the right learning, in the right way to impact business performance and support the achievement of strategic priorities.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with L&D colleagues to create digital learning experiences that are engaging, intuitive, usable, and meet learning quality standards
- Review own work and work of others to develop shared practices across a range of digital learning tools
- Build course and learning activities in the Learning Management System ((e.g. Totara LMS))
- Advise on digital development options across L&D work and wider People and Capability initiatives to meet the project goals
- Advise on best practice quality standards including accessibility, in line with the design concept for the learning
- Support L&D project teams to plan and organise the development components of a project including technical specifications to meet time and capacity constraints
- Give and receive feedback, actively contributing to a positive L&D team culture and high-performance.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Relevant degree level qualification or equivalent experience
- Content authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Rise and Storyline)
- Content authoring platforms (e.g. Totara LMS) and documentation tools (e.g. Microsoft suite)
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and practice
- Experience developing learning in a Learning Management System
- Understands the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the importance of this for working in the public sector
