We are seeking a Digital Experience Developer to join the Ranga Auaha Ako | Learning and Teaching Design Team, part of the Education Office. In this exciting and creative role, you will work collaboratively to develop accessible, engaging, and innovative digital learning resources that support teaching excellence and student engagement across the University.

In this role, you will:

- Design, build and maintain web-based content and multimedia resources in alignment with user experience and accessibility standards.
- Manage and maintain web platforms and content with a mobile-first, SEO-aware approach.
- Collaborate on multimedia production (including video and podcasts), working closely with academic and professional staff.
- Evaluate and optimise digital resource performance using analytics and AI tools.
- Contribute to the digital capability uplift of teaching staff across the University.

This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent contract. The salary range for this role is $83,300 - $102,900 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

Ranga Auaha Ako | Learning and Teaching Design Team plays a key role in enhancing teaching and learning at the University of Auckland. The team partners with staff across faculties to design high-quality curriculum, accessible resources, and multimedia tools. As part of the Education Office, Ranga Auaha Ako supports strategic University initiatives to elevate learning experiences and ensure all students succeed.

**He kōrero mōu | About you**

We are looking for an experienced and creative professional who thrives in collaborative and agile environments. You will have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or the equivalent knowledge, skills and expertise gained through a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- A current certification in digital accessibility (e.g., IAAP-CPACC, WAS).
- 3-5 years of professional experience in digital content and multimedia design.
- A strong portfolio showcasing digital content creation (web, video, audio, graphics).
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., CampusPress), Adobe Creative Cloud tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, Audition), LMS platforms (e.g., Canvas LMS) and generative AI tools.
- Strong understanding of UX, UDL, SEO, copyright and data privacy in content delivery.
- Experience supporting diverse learners with culturally responsive pedagogies.
