Hatea is a high quality centre for children aged 2years through to school. We have a small licence so that we can keep a close knit team and have meaningful relationships with our whanau.

It is a relatively new centre (although it existed under another company previously) which started earlier this year.

Our enrolments are increasing and now we need to find the next amazing kaiako to join this wonderful team..

We are looking for a respectful, caring, qualified kaiako who has a passion for pre-schoolers.

**We are looking for someone with**:

- Enthusiasm and a passion for pre-schooler practice
- A positive and collaborative attitude
- Ability to use initiative and make sound professional decisions
- Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure
- An open-minded attitude and the ability to adapt accordingly
- Knowledge of the implementation of the RIE and Reggio philosophies
- Knowledge of the implementation of Te Whariki, Te ao Maori
- A teaching qualification and certification from the Teaching Council
- A current First Aid certificate (not required but preferred)
- An ambition for more responsibility to support our Team Leader
