Transfibre Limited is seeking a full-time permanent (minimum 30 hours per week) Telecommunication Technician (UFB) in NGA Provisioning (Build & Connect) / MDU Build work for an immediate start.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- A relevant qualification - preferred but NOT mandatory
- Sound computer skills and interpretation of plans
- Preference will be given to people who also have one or more of: Site Safe (Building Construction Passport) - Chorus WTCs
- Current 1st Aid - TC and STMS

- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- An energetic personality, enthusiastic approach to work and a team player
- Be innovative, work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Be physically fit to work at heights and on confined sites
- If required, must be willing to complete a drug test

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Fiber Splicing/blowing/Hauling
- Installation of Telecommunication equipment's like RAT, BUDI, IFDB,FTP,ONT
- Installation of FFP, FAT, CABINET and EXCHANGE networks
- Use of technical equipment. Ex OTDR, Power Meter
- Installing Aerial and underground cables
- Ability to read telecommunication Network Framing diagrams, plans, and terminologies. (CPA, AS-BUILT PLANS).
- Capable of using hand and power tools.
- Civil Work (Trenching, Concrete Slot cutting) Integrating existing legacy wiring.
- Commitment to Quality, Health & Safety.
- Underground hauling, open trenching, Reinstatement and aerial work
- Maintain Health and Safety Standards, Quality Assurance and follow Chorus Standards

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**:

- Be willing to work 6 days a week, and overtime
- Able and willing to work on weekends and public holidays
- Driver's License, as traveling is required.

**Salary**: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
