**Abou**t the opportunity**

We are looking for an Assistant Dispatcher to join our Transport team based in Hamilton. This roles covers the days of Monday to Friday starting at 1.30pm and finishing at 10pm, and also Sunday 10am to 1.30pm.

Some of your key responsibilities and duties will include the following;
- Receive in and process the Loscam pallets and crates from Loscam customers based in and around the Waikato area and relocate those back to Loscam Auckland through the Loscam Portal
- Help load and unload trucks bringing in produce from the growers and other Turners and Growers customers.
- Assist with the processing of all documentation for the booking in, receiving in and dispatching of produce to multiple areas nationwide.
- Assist with sorting produce and ensure that it is labelled and in the correct bays for distribution
- Maintain the cool chain with ensuring all produce required is temp checked and temps recorded and produce put in the Hamilton cool room until the truck arrives.

**About you**

Alongside having great interpersonal skills and being willing to get stuck in, you will also have the following skills and attributes:

- Basic to intermediate** **computer skills - ideally SAP knowledge, Outlook and some Excel experience
- Forklift experience with OSH certificate an advantage
- Great commination skills, both written and verbal
- Good geographic knowledge of New Zealand
- Ideally experience in a warehouse / distribution / logistics environment
