NZCL are looking for energetic and motivated people to support our clients in residential service in Lower Hutt.
**We are looking for Casual Support Workers to work alongside, coach and mentor Rangatahi and Tamariki in our Intensive Support Services in Lower Hutt.**
**This roster is mainly night shift with some day and afternoon shifts.**

Our Support Workers assist Rangitahi and Tamariki who access our services to live as independently as possible in their community. You will:
- Work as a team to ensure consistency in your approach.
- Support Tamariki or Rangitahi to go to school or access education.
- Observe and respond to health concerns or support the overall health and wellbeing of the young person
- Support Rangitahi/Young People to work towards and attain their goals and improve outcomes.

- A desire to support our rangitahi / young people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes.
- Previous experience working with young people/rangitahi.
- An understanding of Intellectual disability and Autism.
- Creativity 'out of the box' thinking and a team player.
- A full NZ driver's license.
**Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness is important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.**
