Pinehurst School, a Year 1-13 private school in Auckland of 1100 students, is looking for a full time, permanent PA to our Senior Leadership Team in our Primary School.

This position of Personal Assistant to the Primary Principal and Deputy Principal is a key one in our school. S/he ensures that the senior leaders in Primary can manage their varied work in an efficient and effective manner, and s/he ensures that communications between the senior leaders, other staff and members of the community are timely and well-managed.

This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys a fast paced, friendly and professional work environment. It may also suit someone who already has a connection to the school and is looking for a different kind of role. We’re looking for someone who has a willingness to take the initiative to develop the role.

**Core Purpose**:
To help enable students in our Primary School to be happy, secure and curious, confident in the support of the adults who guide them in their lives.

We are looking for someone who:

- Has excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Has a relevant qualification and/or has experience as a PA
- Has a high level of experience with diary management
- Has strong IT skills, and experience of using Office Suite programmes
- Has some understanding of and interest in the education sector
- Has exceptional inter-personal skills and an instinctively customer service approach
- Is flexible, and willing to support other members of the team as and when necessary
- Inquisitive and adaptable

Experience of the education environment would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite for this position.
