**About the role**:
This role sits in the Te Ara Rau Access & Choice team, known as “The Pathway of Unlimited Possibilities,” operates within the Connecting Communities Team. We offer brief psychological interventions and hauora support to anyone in the MidCentral rohe.

Join our team at THINK Hauora as a Clinical Team Lead for Te Ara Rau Access & Choice (TARAC). In this role, you’ll co-lead, mentor, and build a team focused on delivering primary mental health and addiction services. You’ll bring an inclusive leadership style, responsiveness, and a holistic mindset to nurture our services. Our goal is to target inequities and enhance the wellbeing of whānau whaiora.

**In conjunction with your fellow Clinical Team Lead, you will be responsible for**:

- Leading and mentoring kaimahi (Health Improvement Practitioners, Health Coaches, The Tūturu Service kaimahi (Gender Affirming Service) to provide high-quality and inclusive mental health and addiction services, including the provision of clinical support and advice. Leading transformational initiatives related to TARAC services.
- Promoting service enhancement and exploring opportunities for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve equitable community health outcomes.
- Elevate the profile of TARAC by delivering innovative, whānau-friendly services that respond to community needs.
- Strengthen and sustain relationships with THINK Hauora teams, Iwi and Māori Providers, GP Practices, Community Organisations, Te Whatu Ora Mental Health Teams, and Government Agencies.

**Key Qualifications and Responsibilities**:

- You’ll lead a clinical team, implementing strategies to create a cohesive team culture. Regular huis, peer reviews, upskilling, and achieving targets will be essential.
- Value kaimahi/staff and primary healthcare partners.
- your passion drivers, motivations, and sources of job satisfaction to enhance community wellbeing.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships at all levels.
- Grounded knowledge of the primary health sector and how it impacts service delivery.
- Formal nursing qualification in mental health and/or addictions field with at least 2 years’ senior experience.
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Pasifika, equity and embracing diversity.
- Enjoy leading a team dedicated to improving tāngata whaiora health and wellbeing.
