**Hauora Tangata** is Kirikiriroa’s first all-in-one kaupapa Māori hauora hub. We're more than just a gym—we offer 24/7 fitness access, group training, and a full team of health practitioners delivering collaborative, holistic health care all under one roof.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated **Health Facility Operations Manager** to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing hauora centre. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you.

**Hours of Work**

Monday-Thursday: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

Friday-Sunday: Rostered cover when required or events occur

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the health and fitness facility
- Lead front-of-house experience: gym tours, consultations, body scans, membership sales
- Manage bookings, supplier orders, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance
- Deliver an excellent customer experience that reflects our kaupapa
- Support the team with admin, events, and in-house promotions
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and culturally grounded environment for all
- Instruct group fitness classes, conduct health & fitness consultations, and check-ins
- Support directors with operational projects and planning
- Marketing and social media support

**What We’re Looking For**
- A genuine interest in health, fitness, and wellbeing
- Friendly, energetic, and approachable with great people skills
- Comfortable with admin systems, booking tools, and basic financial tasks
- Self-disciplined, motivated, and able to lead by example
- Excellent customer service and organisational skills
- Experience in gym, wellness, or facility management is a bonus

**Preferred (but not essential)**:

- Certificate or diploma in fitness, Bachelor in exercise science or health
- First Aid Certification
- Experience using GymMaster or similar platforms
