About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a diverse and dynamic solution provider with a huge range of clients and high-level in-house expertise. We adhere to agile principles and deliver using modern technologies, the latest development tools and practices, and always put customer value first.
Your talent is critical to help us build out test automation frameworks and drive modern automation thinking and practice in our enterprise level clients. You may be a member of a senior automation team, or you may be leading the team depending on the engagement. You will have junior team members to mentor and guide as work is planned and delivered. We place our trust in you to build on our industry-leading frameworks in the API, UI and Mobile space. In order to create optimal test automation suites, you will also bring a history of great testing practices and truly understand how automation fits into the wider QA strategy.
Great What skills do I need?
To earn a place on our team you must be able to implement, improve and augment test automation frameworks in Java, C# or Selenium. You must be creative in your approaches and be able to implement solutions that require the use of multiple tools and technologies.
For leadership assignments, you must demonstrate strong leadership experience, having been successful in a similar role before. For all roles, you must have strong test automation experience spanning several years across a variety of tools and platforms.

**We will ask you to show us your**:

- Proven knowledge of the proper automation approach across the software testing levels and with various software development lifecycles such as Agile and DevOps
- Ability to analyse a project, determine the optimal tool set, implement a proof-of-concept and present the results
- Proven ability to deliver quality results in a busy and dynamic business-focused environment
- Knowledge of good software development practices and current methodologies and tools such as BDD with Gherkin
- Ability to contribute to developing test automation skills and knowledge within the wider team
- Dedication to improvement via training, certifications or self-study

**Desired Technology experience**:

- Automation experience with Selenium (Java or C#), Java Spring Boot, Junit, RestAssured
- Experience with API mocking tools such as Mockito
- CI/CD with Jenkins or Azure DevOps
- API documentation with Swagger
- Performance testing with Gatling or JMeter
- Insurance and/or government domain experience
- Concepts such as Containerisation, REST API, API Security and Cloud concepts

You are technically skilled and genuinely interested in technology as a creative pursuit and not just a job. You can demonstrate the ability to learn, pivot and be open to new ideas.
