We are looking for a full-time, permanent commercial manager with software licensing and procurement expertise to join our team.

You will be responsible for leading key commercial activities and creating trusted partnerships with our suppliers and stakeholders. Your focus will be on supporting our Software Asset and licensing Manager Management to deliver benefits and maximise value through ACC’s ICT spend and supporting procurement and supplier management activities.

You're good at what you do, having experience in the ICT commercial sector. We are looking for someone who has the ability to manage things across the whole procurement spectrum from tendering through to supplier management. Key to success in this role is your experience in broader outcomes, software licensing and tendering.

You're an energetic, motivated, action orientated person who has proven experience in delivering benefits and value to all stakeholders. Engagement is important to the success of this role and you will have a track-record of working collaboratively with others to deliver commercial outcomes in a complex and changing environment. You’ll be comfortable operating in the ‘grey’ and will bring your customer focus to bear as you build trusted relationships.

**Core elements of the role are to;**
- Manage procurement processes
- Software asset management, advice and support
- Supplier management (performance, contract, risk/issues, spend)
- Reporting on the performance of commercial and licensing arrangements
- Work with Agile Release Teams in the delivery of supplier outcomes
- Support ACC in its delivery of its Broader Outcomes responsibility
- Working closely with Legal Services

**Here’s what you’ll bring;**
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a natural collaboration style
- Natural curiosity about digital technology
- Extensive understanding of software licensing/software asset management models and structures
- ICT/Digital commercial procurement and commercial experience, ideally within a public sector context
- Digital design and delivery experience, including end to end sourcing from tender right through to implementation and support of new products or tools
- Strong experience in contract and performance management
- IT commercial, legal or procurement background
- Ability to negotiate and influence others
- Enthusiasm and pride for the team and your work
