With the recent approval of the design and construct contract, we are seeking a Document Controller to join our Te Kaha project team. The purpose of this role is to provide document control and administration assistance to our project team.

The key responsibilities of the positions will include:

- Proactively drive company safety policies, practices and procedures in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times.
- Ensure compliance with the Company Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Policies and procedures.
- Utilise web-based Document Management Systems, shop drawing management and Contract Administration.
- Manage all incoming and outgoing documents. Maintain registers including materials registers, drawing registers and files.
- Assist with QA coordination and document control, ensure records are kept in accordance with the project QA plan.
- Manage the lodgement of design stage deliverables documentation.
- Manage authority close out documentation and subcontractor QA documentation.
- Manage the establishment of defect rectification procedures.
- Prepare monthly and other reports as required.
- Provide general project administration support to the team as required.

**Qualifications**:
The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:

- Prior experience within the building and construction industry or a similar industry.
- Demonstrated experience in Document Control.
- Demonstrated administrative and secretarial skills.
- Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships.
- Demonstrated strong organisational and time management skills.
