**Job description**:

- Coordinate all logistics and export documentation for Garras’ Australasian business unit.
- Due to the nature of export trade, this role will require availability to work on call as and when demands require.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in export regulations and trade laws, and ensure that the organization is in compliance with these changes. Work with team to maintain knowledge of export market requirements.
- Prepare, review, and organize all the necessary documents required for exporting goods.
- Ensure that all export documentation is compliant with local and international regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all export transactions.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the export process.
- Work closely with logistics and shipping teams and monitoring the shipment's progress.
- Provide support and information to customers and partners
- Ensure communication with Suppliers and Customers is timely and proactive.
- Coordinate and manage any issues that arise during transit if delays or changes needed.
- Maintain open and clear communication with various stakeholders, including customs officials, shipping agents, customers, and other parties involved in the export process.
- Optimize export-related costs and expenses, such as shipping fees and customs duties, to ensure the most cost-effective export process.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve export documentation processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Be pro-active in setting gauges and performance standards for your team.
- Manage through the team seasonal peaks and troughs to ensure that shipments and documentation is world class.
- Deliver timely and accurate information to finance department.
- Work with finance on loading schedules so that funding arrangements can be optimised.
- Create AP and AR invoices in SAP, checking that they match Sales order and Purchase order
- Liaise with bank in relation with original documents when CAD

**Job pre-requisites**:

- At least 2 (two) years’ experience in export documentation.
- Either holder of a Customs Pin, or preparedness to train for access to a Customs Pin
- At least 1 (one) years minimum experience in logistics and export shipping co-ordination.
- A tertiary or bachelor’s degree in either Business, Commerce, International Relations, or Law
- SAP, Excel, Outlook and Word knowledge and experience
- A good knowledge of international trading complexities would be advantageous.
- An understanding of trade finance and how this effects logistics and documentation flow
- Fluent in Arabic, Mandarin or Portuguese is desirable
- Project management, negotiation, numerical and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and high level of both oral and written communication skills (strong communicator)
- High level of attention to detail
- Mature business acumen with sound commercial judgments

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
