**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a reliable and empathetic contractor to join our team and assist with the audio-visual and attendant services at Auckland Council Chapels. In this role, you’ll be supporting funeral services by managing audio-visual equipment, assisting with ceremony logistics, and ensuring families and clients receive a seamless and respectful experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up the chapel for funeral services
- Operate digital equipment such as computers, media players, and presentation systems to manage music, slideshows, and other media during services
- Provide on-site assistance to families, funeral directors, and celebrants, ensuring the service runs smoothly
- Offer professional, respectful, and empathetic customer service
- Maintain a calm and organized environment during services

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Experience in audio-visual or event services is a plus but not required
- A friendly, approachable, and compassionate attitude
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and respect
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekdays and Saturdays
