Our Opportunity
We are seeking someone to join our Quality team at our Longburn Dairy Site based in Palmerston North
As a Quality Coordinator you will be responsible for daily execution of Quality functions within Operations to ensure it is of the highest quality, meets our consumer and customer requirements and ensuring our processes and products comply with Quality Standards and expectations.
To be successful in this role you will be energetic, highly motivated, collaborative, and take a proactive, hands-on approach to ensuring the integrity of our quality process and reporting systems.

**Key accountabilities of the role include**:

- Implement and maintain the site quality & food safety systems including Risk Management Program, HACCP, Halal and organic certification, allergen management and food security to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
- Maintain internal and external Audit System to ensure the quality and food safety systems meet regulatory and customer requirements and that procedure are being followed.
- Participate in the factory GMP and internal audit program
- Work with the Export Compliance team to achieve all Market Eligibility, AP-eCert and Export Compliance requirements.
- Provide technical support for Operations and supporting services including R&D, Laboratory, Stores, Customer Service, export and suppliers as required.
- Follow up with operations on non-conformances, from regulatory or customer audits.
- Provide technical support in identifying and resolving manufacturing issues and help drive the continues improvement opportunities.
- Continuous reduction of consumer complaints by using root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Grading and evaluation of products against specifications

**We are looking for someone with**:

- Ideally, 1-2 years' previous experience in a quality coordination role in a food manufacturing
- A tertiary qualification in a Food Science/Food Technology or Science (desirable)
- HACCP, GMP, and auditing knowledge and experience
- Passion for quality with a customer focused attitude
- Proven ability to influence teams to deliver quality objectives
- Proven ability to deliver results to agreed deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and to contribute positively to a team'
- Microbiology knowledge beneficial
