**Your opportunity to join us **at Te Aroha Primary Plant

As a Production Supervisor, your role will be involved in directly managing your production team to meet customer orders whilst maintaining a high standard of Quality and Health and Safety. This role is fast paced and would suit someone looking to take on a challenge and run their shift with the goal of outperforming Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to;
- Supervising the flow of product and processes
- Work planning and prioritising
- Cost control and labour efficiencies within defined areas
- Ensuring quality and food safety objectives are achieved
- Assisting to coordinate maintenance of production equipment
- Recommending changes in production methods
- Coaching, developing and encouraging your team to excel
- Being a champion for people development and growth.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong ability to drive team performance
- Coaching and mentoring skills
- The ability to manage daily requirements along with designated projects
- A focus on safety
- Proficient IT skills
- Experience in a food production environment is beneficial

This role is a busy but rewarding one, so having excellent attention to detail and time management will be essential.
