The NPHS within Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.
We have a permanent, full-time opportunity available to join the Prevention directorate as a** Senior Relationship Manager, National Cervical Screening Programme (NCSP)**. This role will manage and lead the interface and relationship with key stakeholders, to ensure that the NCSP is being delivered, and any changes, which present opportunities or challenges to the programme, are well managed with the providers.
The Senior Relationship Manager is an important role providing strategic guidance and advice on a wide range of training, service delivery, funding and accountability activities, to support the NCSP and key stakeholders and ensuring their business needs are met.
**Mōu | About you**
You are someone with experience working in Primary Care and/or other community-based healthcare organisations. You have understanding of and experience in working with Māori and Pacific communities and have significant experience engaging and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels of the health sector. You're comfortable working in complex environments and developing and implementing changes across a programme of work. You're able to lead, coach and mentor staff and stakeholders, and to work with people at all levels within the health sector.

- Tertiary qualification in a health or relevant field and/or equivalent experience
- Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action
- Experience in complex problem solving through to resolution
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of where detail needs to go with an ability to problem solve always looking for creative ways to improve
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to explain information in a way that is readily understood, with the ability to sell the product vision to stakeholders across all levels and build interpersonal relationships
- Significant experience implementing quality standards to be able to monitor and measure performance during programme change
