We are looking for a Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join our Auckland-based Industrial team of 75 passionate engineers, designers, project managers and quantity surveyors. You will be joining a diverse and talented team that works across a range of sectors, where innovation and delivering the best for our clients are at the heart of every decision we make. We are a close-knit team who enjoy being part of the Auckland office culture, which showcases our values of enjoyment, partnership, care and tenacity

You will be joining a well-established cost estimating and contract management professionals in a busy and diverse team working on a wide range of projects across the local region as well as throughout New Zealand, Australia, South East Asia and the Pacific. Each day will be varied and different, and overall, you can expect to:

- Work closely with our engineering teams to prepare cost estimates for large industrial projects ranging from FEL1 (concept) to FEED (detailed) levels.
- Provide input into fee proposals, estimate plans, project reports, CAPEX submissions, etc.
- Support tender preparation, tender evaluation, and contract formation.
- Mentoring of junior QS personnel and delegation as appropriate.
- Review and verification of the work of others.

We are looking for a high-performing professional with a focus on delivering quality to our clients. You will be working in a dynamic context of large and complex projects where you will be contributing to the development of the team by providing technical leadership, mentoring and transferring your technical knowledge across all levels of the team. As an experienced Cost Manager, you would have gained your skills and have a real passion for estimating on industrial projects. You’ll be an experienced leader who excels in building relationships and turning opportunities into outcomes; coming out of a similar consulting environment, you will have a sound understanding of risk and financial management.
