Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for two Senior Analysts to join our new Regulatory Cost Recovery team responsible for contributing to cost recovery and funding stewardship at Waka Kotahi.In this role you will be responsible for providing support, advice, analysis and guidance of data using costing and pricing models to assist with establishing and embedding the financial stewardship into Waka Kotahi, this will include development and alignment of operations policy, standards and processes.You will also promote awareness of cost recovery practices in Waka Kotahi and monitor the financial results for the fees and levies administered by our organisation.This is a great opportunity to belong to an organisation that makes a difference to New Zealanders every day. We are looking for the following skills/experience:

- Exceptional Microsoft excel and data modelling skills, able to manage data efficiently and accurately.
- A passion for transforming data into insights to support decision making.
- Experience & knowledge with cost and pricing models.
- Experience working in a cost recovery system.
- Proven experience providing advice in a complex environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and to build strong working relationships.
- Curious, with an ability to listen and learn about cost recovery practices at Waka Kotahi and an ability to transform these learnings into improving practices.
