**What will you do?**

We're on the lookout for a Senior Purchasing Specialist who thrives on structure, accuracy, and great working relationships. Based in our Christchurch office, you'll play a central role in keeping our procurement processes running smoothly across New Zealand and Australia. This includes raising and tracking purchase orders, coordinating deliveries, managing contract renewals, and onboarding new suppliers.

You'll work alongside the Purchasing & Contracts Manager and Procurement team to ensure systems are current, suppliers are engaged, and goods and services are delivered in full and on time to support our teams across New Zealand and Australia.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a balance of day-to-day purchasing, problem-solving, and collaborative work with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Other key responsibilities include:

- Negotiate terms and pricing for contracts as directed by the relevant Procurement Manager
- Manage supplier communication regarding warranties, damages, product enquiries, and technical support.
- Accurately process daily purchase orders (POs) across New Zealand and Australia, ensuring purchases are from preferred suppliers, coded correctly, and approved by relevant manager
- As directed by the Purchasing and Contract manager, respond to allocated tasks from the Procurement inboxes, or assist in for allocating task amongst the team
- Track and follow up with suppliers and sites to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods/services
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, supported by the Purchasing & Contracts Manager and GM Procurement to ensure contractual compliance and meet commercial needs

**Who are you?**
- You have proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record in procurement coordination
- You are confident managing purchase orders, contract renewals, and supplier onboarding
- You bring a sharp eye for detail and take pride in keeping systems and records accurate and up to date
- You have experience with procurement or finance systems (bonus if you've worked with Greentree)
- You are passionate about delivering results
