**A little bit about the role**
The role is full-time, permanent and located at our head office in Christchurch. We are recruiting for two roles
- one Specialist for our Apparel Sportswear division and the other will be for our Branded goods. The roles will accurately purchase and track end to end placement and delivery of KMD regional Purchases Orders as well as managing and ensuring transparency of production milestones to achieve on time delivery to the freight forwarder. Day to day you will be responsible for;
- Adhering to critical path milestones from receiving initial buy plan to supplier shipment booking confirmation by ensuring Demand and Buy plans are consolidated, negotiated and PO's are placed on time
- Collaborating with Planning and Buying team, working towards supplying seasonal to long term forward forecasts for factory capacity planning
- Build knowledge of supplier capacity scheduling and productivity to optimise price and delivery phasing
- Consolidating inventory requirements to determine final buy plan against budget reporting
- Propose PO drop quantification and phasing aligned with Inventory plans, DC capabilities, all ranging and promotional plans, and International shipment timelines
- Accurately place the POs and manage the supplier confirmation process inc any changes to cost prices and any surcharges have been negotiated and signed off
- Manage the production tracking tools and processes ensuring continuous improvement to transparency and consistent communication of business risks and opportunities to all key stakeholders
- Raising POs for SMS samples ensuring critical path timelines are maintained for photo shoots, wholesale offices and marketing etc
