**About the opportunity**

In this key role as FSQ Manager for our Takanini site, you will lead a small team responsible for ensuring compliance to all quality and food safety standards. With your previous quality, auditing and food safety experience coming to the fore, you will oversee the day-to-day activities at the Takanini site. You will provide energy and direction to quality systems and projects, ensuring strategic impact and efficiency of these processes.

Reporting to the National FSQ Manager, some of your responsibilities include:

- Ensure compliance to all quality and food safety standards such as GMP, HACCP, RMP, FSSC 22000 to a level such that the site is ready for spot audits at any time.
- Ensure key stakeholders such as Innovation, Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions are practicing the quality and food safety requirements.
- Monitor consumer/customer complaints, perform solid root cause analysis and coordinate resolution.
- Coordinate and achieve a high level of compliance to all internal and external audits.
- Promote and drive a culture across the site where product quality and food safety are held in the highest regard.
- Lead and participate in Health and Safety activities such as Health & Safety walkarounds, hazard identification and risk assessment processes in line with Company procedures and processes.

**About you**

You will come from a Food Safety & Quality background, ideally from within the Dairy or Food and Beverages industry. You will have demonstrable management experience building, coaching and mentoring teams while driving change in a quality environment. Your well-developed technical, process and quality skills will enable you to proactively lift food safety compliance and focus on continuous improvement to enable business strategy.

You will also have:

- Tertiary qualification in relevant field
- RMP, HACCP, ISO and Regulatory Affairs expertise
- Strong analysis and problem identification skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills
