**Kitchenhand and Dishwasher**:
**Job Duties**:

- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
- Cleaning kitchens, food preparation areas and sculleries
- Clean all kitchen surfaces, including the floors and equipment
- Remove garbage regularly
- Sanitize the kitchen area cleaning cooking and general utensils used in kitchens and restaurants transferring, weighing and checking supplies and equipment
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary
- Assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking packing food and beverage trays for serving Toasting and heating simple food items
- Any other duty that may be assigned by the duty manager or chef or cook.
- Assist kitchen and service staff in preparing and serving food, and clean food preparation and service areas.
- Knowledge in Indian Foods is preferable Health and safety knowledge
- **Skills and knowledge***
- Knowledge of Indian Foods and Indian cooking
- knowledge of cleaning methods and chemicals
- knowledge of kitchen safety and food hygiene
