With a stellar reputation in the industry, this multinational organisation, in the manufacturing industry, have a long-standing history of excellence and innovation. They are currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join their dynamic and supportive wider finance team on a 3-month contract basis. Offering a hybrid working model and flexible working hours they are conveniently located close to public transport links.

**The Role**

In this sole charge Accounts Payable Officer position, you will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with the wider finance team of 5. Your duties will involve handling foreign currency transactions and ensuring compliance with business standards. Your responsibilities will include:

- Processing invoices efficiently and accurately, following established company protocols.
- Performing regular reconciliations of accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
- Managing vendor relationships, resolving any issues promptly and maintaining open lines of communication.
- Verify and review expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve any discrepancies or concerns related to accounts payable.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.

**Skills & Experience**

This position requires the following experience:

- Proven experience in a high-volume accounts payable position.
- Proficiency in invoice processing, account reconciliations, vendor management, and using accounting software.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Problem-solving skills to address any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
